She approaches all Continuum Architects + Planners’ projects with the same philosophy of providing high-quality architecture through open communication because the ultimate goal is to enrich the lives of those who use the space.
She has an impressive resume of large projects in healthcare and housing, but is comfortable applying her skills to any market. She also has a well-rounded understanding of building construction, building systems, and associated engineering technology.
What do you like best about being an architect and/or working in this industry?
Architecture is a form of art that enhances the lives of all who experience it.
What made you want to be an architect when you grew up?
I have always been interested in the Arts. I entered college not knowing how I was going to use the arts as a career so I entered with an undeclared major and thought I would use the first year of college to explore my options. Within the first few weeks of college, I met some architecture students and spent many nights visiting them in studio learning about their projects and discussing design options with them. It seemed to come so natural to me I knew it was what I wanted to do as a career.
Architecture allows me to use my creative mind everyday to create something that people can enjoy. My job enhances the lives of the community and the end users and that is the reason I enjoy doing what I do.
What is your favorite thing about working at Continuum?
