The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has conferred on Ursula Twombly of Continuum Architects + Planners recognition as a “Citizen Architect” for her commitment to her community and to the architecture profession. The honor is for applying her insights, talents, training and experience to actively advocate and support initiatives that enhance the quality of life and future of the community through her service as president of the Walker’s Point Association in Milwaukee.
The AIA’s Citizen Architect/Civic Engagement Program is an advisory network of the AIA National Board of Directors Advocacy Committee. Their goal is to promote this group of citizen architects as inspiration and a resource for other professionals.
