| To attract new residents, the Care Center chose to not only upgrade the finishes for a more homelike, less institutional environment, but to also increase the efficiency of the space for the staff. The smaller rooms were removed to create one large space that provides increased flexibility in movement and aids in patient observation. As part of the 7,000 square foot renovation, Continuum designed a therapy apartment with a fully functional kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
