This urban in-fill, wood-framed row housing on Milwaukee's lower east side comprises five three-story units. The building is responsibly sited along Greenwich Avenue's northern edge with green space, small porches, and carriage walks creating a buffer from the sidewalk. Attention to design creates a pleasant entry sequence and provides multiple layers as the building meets grade.

| The first floor living space is elevated via a half-sunken garage floor accessed from the back, allowing privacy to the units that open up to the street with large spans of windows. The corner unit takes on a unique form to address availability of views as well as the character of Cramer Street, where homes have their front doors sited in that direction. Traditional siding trim details are replaced with clean mitered corners along anodized channels. The design elevates the common materials by using them in a non-conventional way to provide a clean modern look.
