Project Overview

Central Illinois Bank leased the 6,400-square-foot first floor of a three-story office building for its Marine Bank, Elm Grove branch. Since the space was outdated and had been vacant for three years, it needed to be completely demolished and refinished. The main goal was to design a modern-style space that served the public as well as provided the bank staff with private and secure work areas.

The main lobby, with its large glass front, provides natural lighting to create an inviting entrance for customers leading to the large central teller station. The desks maintain security, while providing access to the staff from the lobby and the drive-through window. This area also includes workstations where customers can perform online banking transactions while enjoying coffee and other refreshments at the bank’s hospitality center. In addition, there is a large area for conference rooms, private offices, and a training center.
