Extreme Makeover for Prominent Medical Office Building
Two painted concrete block buildings, although serviceable, lacked curb appeal and suffered from low occupancy, despite its desirable location. Continuum’s transformation idea was careful insertion of a well-proportioned, three-story entrance, along with a second-floor glass addition that created a bright, eye-catching “new” building. The light-filled glass and renaissance stone entrance is the key element that knits together the building’s different components while housing the elevator and lobbies for each floor.
In addition to the main entrance design, Continuum provided space programming and interior improvements in several doctor’s suites. A 3,000-square-foot dentist office included a reception and waiting area, business office, patient rooms, ADA-compliant restroom, sterilization room, surgery, staff breakroom, labs, and mechanical equipment room. Another was for a physical therapy suite with two treatment rooms and a gym as well as offices, a waiting room, reception area, a multi-use room, and utility room.Get in touch
