Turning Preservation into Opportunity

Historic tax credits can help close financial gaps and make projects viable. The Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program encourages private sector investment for the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings by offering a tax credit equal to 20% of qualified rehabilitation expenditures. Likewise, many states have also established historic tax credit programs of their own.

We have extensive experience complying with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and guiding our clients’ projects though the multi-step submittal process while coordinating with State and National agencies for approvals.

At Continuum, we further streamline this process by providing full architectural services in tandem with historic consulting services. As a single source of responsibility, we deliver seamless coordination, efficiency, and creative solutions.
