YWCA – Mecca / Milwaukee, WI

The Mecca was envisioned as a marketplace designed to unite Milwaukee through shared interests. Renovations to this existing building in the historic MLK Drive / Harambee neighborhood would provide retail space for mission-aligned small businesses and organizations. The space was designed to also include community gathering spaces, a restaurant/cafe, and a gym.
