Vaishali Wagh

Principal

Vaishali Wagh, principal at Continuum Architects + Planners, plays a leading design and mentorship role for the firm. Originally from Mumbai, Vaishali’s global perspective and discerning eye allows her to create vibrant spaces – from intimate interiors to large urban settings. Her designs combines her passion for sculpture with architectural forms – one informing the other.

At Continuum, Vaishali brings expertise in historic renovation and adaptive reuse. She takes a scholarly approach to research a building’s past uses and historical significance, prepares nominations for the National Register of Historic Places, and helps clients navigate historic tax credits.

Vaishali has the ability to decipher and navigate the gray areas of historic renovation, where current building codes and historic preservation don’t always play well. She is unflappable, with the ability to present her case, even in the face of opposition, with a level of respect and reverence.”  Michael Morrison, True Inc.

Vaishali’s portfolio extends beyond historic renovation to include modern living, workplace, and learning environments. Her design philosophy has a duality that allows her work to emulate the historic context of the space while bringing a fresh, modern take on classic forms.
